A sneak peek into Dr. BR Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat

After a long period of time, On April 30, the Dr. BR Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat will be inaugurated, and the state administration is preparing for the event with a particular focus on security. During a meeting, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao reviewed the arrangements and asked DGP Anjani Kumar to create security guidelines for the complex. 

The morning ceremony will include special rituals performed by Roads and Buildings Minister V Prashanth Reddy at a time chosen by pandits. After the formal inauguration, the Chief Minister and other officials will occupy their respective chambers. 

More than 2500 people are expected to attend the ceremony, and there are four entrances to the Secretariat complex. The East entrance is the main entrance which will be used by VIPs for their entry and special invitees from abroad, including the Chief Minister, DGP, Ministers, Chief Secretary, MPs, MLAs, and MLCs. The North-West entrance will only be opened when required or on an immediate basis, and Secretariat staff and officials will use the North-East entrance, which also includes parking. The South-East entrance will be open to general visitors from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., and electric vehicles will be provided for senior citizens and physically challenged individuals.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister also said the Chief Secretary, A Santhi Kumari to make guidelines for launching the Gruha Lakshmi program, which will give Rs.3 lakh assistance to plot owners for home construction. He also said the officials to start the Podu lands pattas and Sheep distribution programs as soon as possible.
